Multi-instrumentalist and operatic baritone Ko Kaiden is an enterprising musician whose career and drive has taken him around the world as a performer. Primarily an oboist, Mr. Kaiden has held principal oboe positions with orchestras in his native Japan, as well as Korea, Mexico, and the United States. Upon moving to New York in 1990, he took up other instruments so he could play as a woodwind doubler in Broadway productions. He has played as many as five different instruments in a show, with a European tour of “A Chorus Line”, Other productions to his credit include “Annie Get Your Gun”, “The Producers”, “Gypsy”, and “Radio City Christmas Spectacular”.

From 1995 to 2008 he was a faculty member as oboe and chamber music instructor at CPSM Queens College in New York City.

My name is Ko Kaiden. I am a woodwind technician specializing in oboe and clarinet repair.

I have been servicing professional players of Detroit Symphony, Toledo Symphony, and college professors.

Please see my credentials and testimonials at my website:

I am expanding my services to motivated and talented high school players.

Please encourage your students to have their instruments checked regularly.

Without properly regulated instruments their efforts and your effort for improvements will not  be rewarded.

Instruments in top playing condition are an invaluable asset to the serious teacher and student!

In addition to my professional level regulation for oboes and clarinets I do repair student model flutes and bassoons.

If you could put my information on the band room bulletin board I do appreciate it.
