P-CEP Bands LogoDear Student, Parents, and Guardians,

Mr. Wells, and I are looking forward to making music with the Wind Ensemble one last time before the end of the school year comes to a close. The concert in Kellogg Park will begin at 7:00pm in Downtown Plymouth on June 7th. Parking may be hard to find so please plan accordingly. Wind Ensemble Students should remember to bring their music in their music folder, their own music stand, and their own folding chair. Wind Ensemble students should arrive between 6:00 pm and 6:10 pm, so we can set up on stage, and warm up before the concert begins.

***NEW***
This year I am asking the Wind Ensemble students to wear concert black with yellow accents (e.g., yellow tie, yellow scarf etc.) for the performance. I would like to take a professional quality photograph of the ensemble near the water fountain in Kellogg Park for your records, and to present as a featured photo in the 2019 Michigan Music Conference program to recognize the 2017/18 Wind Ensemble for their achievement in getting ensemble accepted to the conference. - If you have questions about what concert black is please send Mr. Thomann an email This email address is being protected from spambots. Mr. Wells, and I will be collecting all original music, and music folders at the end of the concert. Any student with a school owned instrument who is a graduating senior will also need to turn in their instrument before they leave the concert.

We will also welcome any parent/guardian volunteers willing to help load and unload the truck before and after the concert.

Percussionists: Please make sure that you have all of the instruments you need, as well as your music, mallets, and sticks. Please communicate with Mr. Thomann prior to the concert if you have any questions or need help. Mr. Thomann, and Mr. Wells will be loading the truck on Thursday June 8th between 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm. If you are able to assist with the load we would really appreciate it.
