  • Four Plymouth-Canton Educational Park band program students selected for the MSBOA All-State Ensembles Program Julie O'Connor 2019-01-22

    The Michigan School Band & Orchestra Association (MSBOA) recently announced student placements for the 2019 All-State Ensembles Program. Four students from the Plymouth-Canton Educational Park (P-CEP) band program were selected for an ensemble. The All-State program consists of five ensembles selected from recorded auditions. This year, 2,700 students auditioned for nearly 400 slots in the program. The selected students will perform on January 26, 2019 in Grand Rapids at the DeVos Center and Amway Grand Hotel.     Canton – The Plymouth-Canton Educational Park (P-CEP) marching band competed their 2018 program, Textured, this past week at the Bands of American Grand National Championships in Indianapolis, IN. In the initial preliminary round of the competition held on Thursday, Nov. 8, 2018 at Lucas Oil Stadium, P-CEP placed 12th in Class AAAA, and 18th overall out of 108 bands in the nation’s most prominent marching championship.
