We strive to keep lines of communication open with all our students and boosters. Below is a list of the ways we communicate, it's purpose, and how to plug into them.
This site serves as our communication hub. This is where you can find historical information, important news and updates, photos and links to other sources of information. One of the most important sources of information on this site is the calendar. Be sure to check it often.
Our primary means of disseminating important information is through fanouts. We send out e-mail messages to notices of schedule updates, volunteer needs, itineraries, and other information that our membership needs.
Booster meetings are a great place to get important information about upcoming events. It is also a great place to ask questions and connect with other boosters. We always start the meeting with an update from the directors and follow up with important information of events happening within the coming month. Meetings are typically the first Tuesday of every month in the large band room. Be sure to check the calendar for the schedule.
We have newsletters available at almost every booster meeting (there are no newsletters on the second meeting of September and October). The newsletter typically expounds on the information discussed during the meeting. It is also posted online after the meeting. After logging into the site you can access the newsletters here or click on "Newsletters" under the Boosters menu at the top of the page.
The scrip table is open on just about every Tuesday (watch your fanouts for schedule changes). There are often other things going on during that time, such as picking up items from fund raisers or collecting of funds for group purchases like t-shirts and videos. It is also a great opportunity to ask questions about anything involving the band. Click here for more information about Scrip.
Our Facebook page is a great place to connect with friends and discuss the happenings with the P-CEP Music programs.
Some information needs our immediate attention, such as last minute cancellation, weather issues, and a delay in the schedule bus arrival time after a competition. With Remind101 we can send out an immediate text to keep you up to the minute. This is intended only for current students and parents.
If all else fails, you can ask us a question. The contacts page gives a means to send an e-mail to many of the people involved in keeping this organization rolling, including the directors, board, and some of our coordinators.
