Mr. Emery Craig
Music Coordinator

Emery Craig currently serves as Music Coordinator and Brass Caption Head for the marching band. Before coming to Plymouth-Canton, Emery taught the marching band at Lake Orion high school for 4 years as Brass Caption Head. Emery joined the staff for PCMB in 2009. In the 2010 season, he became assistant marching band director. Throughout the school year, Emery teaches masterclasses for the concert ensembles as well as private lessons for trombone and baritone/euphonium.

Emery is a former member of the Bluecoats Drum & Bugle Corps. He marched baritone and received an outstanding rookie brass award. Emery joined the brass staff for the Bluecoats in 2007, now into his 4th year with the corps.

Going on his eleventh year, Emery has taught several bands and marching ensembles including stints with Dutch Boy Drum & Bugle Corps. He has also performed with several bands, orchestras and musicals including the Plymouth Symphony Orchestra. His principal instrument is bass trombone. Many students have studied privately under him, focusing on low brass performance.

Emery currently resides in Canton, MI with his fiancé Ashley.
